He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Goranflo Schantz and Ethel Mae Schantz (Brooke); his wife Grace Ann Sacramento; and his siblings, Charles, Ronald, Betty, Doris (Dolly), Barbara and Georgia.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Jr. (Melinda), Mark (Martha) and JoAnn Cooksey (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Brooke (Dan), Sarah (Eric), Elizabeth (Ian), Michael, Joseph and Grace-Erin; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Frankie, Fiona and Bennett.
