Payton of Gurnee; his grandson Justin A. Cheatham; his father-in-law Joseph L. Rhodes of Zion, Illinois; his aunts, Helen K. Rhodes of Pleasant Prairie and Brenda Mason of Neptune; his siblings, Judy Johnson (Nelson) of Augusta, Georgia, Florine R. Brown of Lambertville, Mavis Brown of Des Moines, Iowa, Kelvin Brown Sr. (Indiana) of Kingston and Jerome A. Brown (Rochelle) of Rockford, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Angela L. Rhodes Medin (Anders) of Arsta, Sweden, Zabrina Y. Skonecki (Joseph) of Geneva, Gretchen E. Mount, Anastasia E. Tanner of Buckeye, Arizona, David-Joseph L. of Zion, Christopher N. Rhodes of Vieques and Puerto Rico. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
