He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Welch and Vada Welch; and his son Nathaniel. He is survived by: his wife Ludean Welch; his daughter Stacy Welch (Melissa); his grandsons, Nathan Welch Jr., Nelson Welch, Ayden Ward and Gavin Ward; and his siblings, David Welch (Sheila), Renee Werenski, Melanie Seilheimer (Perry), Charles Welch (Brenda), Paul Welch (Krystal), William and Kimberly Jones (late Bobby).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Warren Funeral Home (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
