He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Philip Lombardo (Susan) and Mark Lombardo (Christine); his grandchildren, Marissa Lombardo, Vincent Lombardo (Hanna), Lauren Lombardo and Nicole Lombardo (Adam Voehl); his great grandchild Maya; his siblings, Frank Lombardo (Adrienne) and Rita Buttacavoli (Jack); his close friend Mel Hansen (Carol); his brother-in-law Robert Kaleta (Julie); his wife Adrienne Lombardo; and his father Louis.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (135 S Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Warren Cemetery (1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031).
