She was predeceased by : her parents, Bob Ernest and Trudy Ernest (Rossman); and her brother Bob Ernest. She is survived by : her children, Jerry Miller (Mary), Jan (Miller), Meissner (Jeff) and Jeff Miller (Valerie); her grandchildren, Leigh Platzbecker (Miller), Melissa McKinney (Miller), Brad Meissner, Grace Brown (Miller), Jane Bruner (Miller), Bob Miller, Lauren Bryl and Kathleen Burch; and her husband Herman L. Miller. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

If you would raise your glass (maybe sans ice cube) and pet your dog tonight, or better yet, donate to your local shelter or take home a pet, that would be as happy an ending as she could hope for.
