He is survived by: his wife Arlynn Joaquin of Year's Eve; his children, Katherine Michaud (Marchello), Kristilyn Friese (Seth) and Jonathan Joaquin (Erin); and his grandchildren, Celestino, Sebastiano, Ilaria, Ariella, Brannon and Kade. He is also survived by sisters and brothers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waukegan would be greatly appreciated.
