We announce the death of Roy Gallegos Sr. of Gurnee, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Roy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria; his parents, Joseph Gallegos and Mary Gallegos; and his siblings, Angelo, Tom, Steven, Anthony, Albert, Gloria and Esther.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lucas, Caitlin, Karmella Jean, Peter Michael, Michelle and J. J.. He is also survived by his father, his mother, his brothers and sisters, cousins and friends.
