She was predeceased by: her mother Fronie Velma Holland (Odems); her sons, Ronald Tate and Rodney Tate; her husband William "Bud" Tate; her father John Isaac Holland; and her siblings, Viola Holland, Elsie Floyd, Nellie Hall, Avadean Petree, JC Holland and Charles Mauldin.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Harlow (Ronald); her daughter-in-law Gail Tate; her grandchildren, Lisa Evans (Lee), Mark Harlow, Adam Tate (Sharon), Andrew Tate (Melissa) and Ryan Tate (Deanna); and her sister May Baggett of Red Bay, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
