With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J Goralczyk of Gurnee, Illinois, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Walter leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Goralczyk and Anne Goralczyk; his wife Diane T. Goralczyk; and his daughter Lisa Collins. He is survived by: his son Charles Goralczyk (Tanya); his grandchildren, Ashley Collins, Jennie Niedbalec (Daniel) and Samuel Collins; and his sister Helen Fuesz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home (7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
