She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Mansholt and Jesse Mansholt (Schmidt); her husband Marvin H. Sander; her sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Hartlieb (Duane) and Marilyn Mangum (Gary); and her parents-in-law, Herbert and Olinda Sander (Meyer).
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. David M. Sander (Margaret) of Sacramento and Jonathan K. Sander (Sanna) of North Potomac, Maryland; her grandchildren, Charles, Erik and Anya Sander; and her sister Mary Strode (Curtis) of Marietta, Illinois..
