He was predeceased by: his parents, William Copeland and Evelyn Copeland (Jackson); and his sisters, Pauline McNealy, Jean Copeland and Judy Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Adams; his daughter Ronda; his son-in-law Larry Sechrest of Alton; his son Lonnie; his daughter-in-law Chrissie Copeland of East Alton; his grandchildren, Kara, Michael Corby of Staunton, Maegan, Brandon Copeland of East Alton, Kyle, Cami Sechrest of Godfrey and Katie Copeland of Wood River; his great grandchildren, Alex, Asher, Alexis, Sykler, Oliver, Camden and Carson; his siblings, Margaret Jarvis of Winfield and Tom; and his sister-in-law Pam Copeland of Shelton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Siteman Cancer Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
