He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Alison "Nikki" Ramirez (Alejandro) and Tyler Hempen (Rebekah); his sister Clarice Ellison; and his grandchildren, Nicolas "Nico" Ramirez, McKenzie and Peyton Hempen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
