She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Hankins and Elizabeth Stewart Hankins; her husband Melvin L. Niekamp; her son Harry Dale Niekamp; her son-in-law Henry Bob Haley; her stepmother Anna Hankins; her sister Jane Gill; and her niece Anna Cronin.

She is survived by : her daughter Jo Haley; and her grandson Duff Haley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
