It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donna DeLozier of Hamilton, Illinois, born in Colusa, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on April 14, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dorren Scanlan and Julia Walton Scanlan; her husband George DeLozier; her brother Mahlon; her stepmother Velma Scanlan; and her stepsiblings, Barb Bonner and Lanny Cook.

She is survived by : her daughters, Becky Summers (Doug) of Hamilton, IL and Bonnie Sammons (Tim) of Mt. Pleasant, IA; her grandchildren, Zach Summers (Randi), Ben Summers (Kelsey), Kendall Summers (Carly), Angie Farnsworth (Joel) and Brad Sammons (Erin); her great grandchildren, Blake Summers, Harrison Summers, Addison Summers, Ellison Summers, Abby Farnsworth, Joel Farnsworth, Ellie Sammons and Sammie Sammons; her sister Norma Neill of West Point, IL; and her stepsiblings, Judy Smith, Donna Cook and Dan Cook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton United Methodist Church (861 Walnut St, Hamilton, IL 62341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or Deer Run Golf Course. Keep Donna's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
