It is with sadness that the passing of Shirley Diane Brownlee of Hamilton, Illinois is shared. Shirley, born on June 22, 1952, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Shirley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Shirley by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Shirley is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Shirley’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Brownlee and Edna Brownlee (Eales); her brothers, Larry Brownlee and Keith Brownlee; and her nephew James Brownlee.
She is survived by: her brother Francis Brownlee (Sharon) of Hamilton; and her sister-in-law Lenora Brownlee of Warsaw. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (3476 Main St, Keokuk, IA 52632). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Oakland Cemetery (1600 Cemetary Rd, Warsaw, IL 62379).
Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church in Keokuk.
