Sue Binder Obituary
In loving memory of Sue Binder of Hammond, Illinois, who departed this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Sue leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy A. Gillen and Mary Helen Iaun Gillen; her husband John W. Binder; and her sister Frances Strocher. She is survived by: her child Chris Ellis; her son-in-law Kevin of Hammond; her children, Johnny Binder of Decatur, Jerry Binder, Jeffrey Binder and Trish of Cape Coral, FL; and her grandchildren, Brad Ellis, Lindsey Walk, Brittany Bartley, Johnathon Binder, Tyler Binder, Jordan Muehlebach, Leslie Richardson, Mitchell Binder, Kaleigh Koetting, Alissa Koetting and John Koetting. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hammond Cemetery (148 N 750 East Rd, Hammond, IL 61929).
Memorials are suggested to the Hammond United Methodist Church.
