He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. "Wes" Wessel and June M. Wessel; and his brother Terry A. Wessel. He is survived by: his wife Janice M. "Jan"; his daughter Kaley (Ryan Johnson); his grandchildren, Hadley and Royce; his sister Tami (Lee Janczewski); and his sister-in-law Ellen Wessel.
