He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hawkins of Hampton, Illinois; his children, Amanda, Rebecca "Becky" Hawkins of Jacksonville, Bradley and Steven Hawkins of East Moline, Illinois; his stepsons, Donald Crabtree of Hampton and Michael Crabtree of Hillsboro; and his grandsons, Todd Hughes and Steve.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of Steve's courageous battle.
