With sadness, we share the passing of Doris L. Gavert of Hanover Park, Illinois. Doris, born on November 5, 1929, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Doris for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence; her daughter Cathy Wilson; and her brother Raymond Foege (late Verba). She is survived by: her children, Chris Cassin (Jeff), Robert Gavert (Susan) and Ron Gavert (late Kim); and her niece Marsha Wronski (Bob). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Streamwood (1640 S Green Meadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Ridgewood Memorial Park (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
