He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Berry and Kathryn Berry (Kirn); his wife Ann Schmid; his children, Robert Berry (Lara), Christine Lillie (Joe) and Elizabeth Berry; his grandchildren, Andrew Lillie, Kate Lillie, Vija Berry, Matt Berry, Mike Lillie, Charlie Berry and Paul Berry; and his sisters, Mary Loupee and Susan Skarecky.
