He is survived by : his daughter Alaya Taifa; his parents, Joshua J. Taifa Sr. and Laura Pettera (George); his siblings, Dakari, Raiden, Yosiah Taifa and Anastasia Horkay; his nieces, Jayyda and Liliana; and his grandparents, Jabulani Taifa (Vanessa), Jamila Taifa, John and Louise Horkay. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
