James Hughart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Hughart of Hardin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Richard W. Hughart and Luva Hughart (Watts); his former spouse Pamella Souder; his children, Shawn Hughart (Yesenia Cabeza) of Edwardsville, Jeff Hughart (Ashley Paris) of Bethalto and Tamara Hughart; his in-laws, Jean Huff, Marvin Rezabek (Donna), Theresa Lavelle, Bruce Rezabek (Donna), Francis Rezabek (Nancy) and Richard Rezabek (Alice); his wife Mary Kay; his grandchildren, Caitlin Hughart, Sam Silveus, Steven Silveus and Avery Paris; and his brother-in-law Brett Souder.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Hardin (207 S County Rd, Hardin, IL 62047). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Norbert's Catholic Church (505 Main St, Hardin, IL 62047). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Valhalla Memorial Park (2308 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035).
