With solemn reverence, we commemorate Terese E. Gerson of Hardin, Illinois, whose life came to an end on June 2, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lorsbach and Sue Lorsbach (Tuetken); her brother Bill Lorsbach (Willard); her brother-in-law Jim Gerson; her parents-in-law, Clayton and Ginny Gerson; her cousin Butch Lorsbach; and also Phil Gress.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Gerson; her daughters, Sara Lorsbach (Bernard "Bud" Hillen) and Samantha Sievers (Kyle); her stepdaughters, Alicia Churchman (David) and Amy Carbaugh (Rob); her siblings, MaryLu Gerson, Kate Sievers (Duane) and PJ Lorsbach (Heather); her grandchildren, Emery, Grayson, Hayes, Lucy, Blake, Tanner, Hadley, Thomas and Allison; and also Brenda. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Hardin (207 S County Rd, Hardin, IL 62047). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Norbert's Church. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Norbert's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the Calhoun County Ambulance, St. Anselm Church or family choice.
