Sherry Hickey wrote a sympathy message

“Father Richard will be solely missed by all. Father Richard got me my first Job at St.Charles Hospital in Aurora when I graduated from Madonna High School working in Medical records with sister Philothia. He was there for our family when my mother passed, his niece Ethel Mary Kies Gutierrez and for my father Tom Gutierrez & my grandmother & grandfather Gutierrez. He has always couseled me throughout my life and sent me pictures of my mom and Aunt Mary, my Godmother. He was God's servant.”
