She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Pauline Thompson (Adams); her husband Othner Jackson; her sister Betty; her brother-in-law Tom Hopkins; her brother Bill; her sister-in-law Jean Thompson; her brother Henry Thompson; her siblings-in-law, Teresa Thompson and Joe Morten; and her son-in-law Bruce Francis.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Francis of Aiken and Stan Jackson of Harrisburg, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jenna Barton (Andrew) of Lexington, Patrick Francis (Becca) of Marietta, Georgia, Eric Jackson of Chicago, Illinois and Erin Jackson of Carbondale, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Bronwyn and Jensen; her siblings, Walter Thompson of Wood River, Illinois, Hazel Morten of Cottage Hills, Illinois and Richard "Bud" Thompson (Barbara) of Galatia, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Alice Thompson of Bethalto, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Chapel Church Benevolence Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
