He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Verbal Sheldon (Estes); and his sister Shirley Ann Sheldon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Sheldon of Harrisburg, Illinois; his children, Mark Alan Sheldon (Judy) and Susan Dawn Allen of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Heather Ashley Sides (Chris) of Wynne, Arkansas, Alix Ely (Brian) of Harrisburg and Mark Alan Sheldon II of Harrisburg; his great grandchildren, Britin White and Bane Sides of Wynne, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Mary Joyce Sheldon of Harrisburg, Georgia Mae Klemm (Ron) of Golconda, Illinois and James William "Bill" Sheldon of Newburgh, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
