He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Ann Smith (Owen) and James Rex "Rod" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Smith of Harrisburg; his son Kyle Smith (Heather) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Gracelynn and Connor Smith of Harrisburg; his siblings, Beth Billo (Bruce) of St. Louis, Missouri, Steve Smith of Harrisburg and Kevin Smith (Angela) of Grantsburg, Illinois; and his siblings' children, Christopher Billo, Lauren Webb, Peyton Smith and Cole Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisburg Athletics Department and will be received at the funeral home.
