We bid farewell to Izetta Stricklin of Harrisburg, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Izetta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Dickerson and Pearl Dickerson (McElmerry); her husband Herschel Stricklin; her great grandchild Cheyanne Hicks; her sisters, Eulene Albert and Loraine Cletcher; and her son-in-law Dennis R. Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Hicks of Harrisburg; her grandsons, Justin Anthony Davis (Amy) of Petersburg, Joseph Matthew Davis of Petersburg and Dennis Ray Hicks Jr. (Heather) of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Destiny Faith Hicks of Fort Oglethorpe, Trina Michell Hicks of Fort Oglethorpe and Samuel Davis of Petersburg, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
