He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Secor of Harrisburg, Illinois; his son James "Jimmy" Secor III (Laura) of Dickinson, Texas; his grandchildren, Kirby Rimpler, Kaitlin Rimpler, Caroline Rimpler and Cassie Rimpler of Harrisburg, Illinois; and his sister Sally Turner (Stanton) of St. Maries, Idaho.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
