He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Wesley and Mary Kathleen Hurd (Landis); and his siblings, Forrest Hurd, Doug Hurd, Marcia Hurd and Cheryl Hurd Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Ann Deuel; and his sons, Brian Hurd (Farrah) of Harrisburg, Alan Hurd (Candace) of Dothan and Al. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
