In the sacred silence of farewell, Olive is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hardin and Harriet Hardin (Burt); and her husband Raymond N. Johnson. She is survived by: her nephew Rupert Johnson (Patti) of Harrisburg, Illinois; her stepdaughters, Renee Derrick (John) of Landover, Maryland. and Donna Butcher (James) of Fayetteville, Georgia; and her nephew Kimte'Hardin of California.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
