He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Jackson and Fern Jackson (Rose); his brother Oral; his sister-in-law Ida Jackson; and his sister Letha Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Delia Thompson; his children, Debbie Francis of Aiken and Stan Jackson of Harrisburg, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jenna Barton (Andrew) of Lexington, Patrick Francis (Becca) of Marietta, Georgia, Eric Jackson of Chicago, Illinois and Erin Jackson of Carbondale, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Bronwyn and Jensen; his sisters, Lovetta Burnett (Kirk) of Galatia, Illinois and Loretta Patterson of Galatia, Illinois; and his brother-in-law Larry Evans of Galatia, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Garden Cemetery.
