She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Franklin and Olivia I. Owens (Owen); her brother Gary York; and her great grandchild Nova McDowell. She is survived by: her husband Edward Ray Friend; her daughters, Cynthia Ann Fulkerson (Richard) of Harrisburg and Melissa Oliver (Lars) of Eddyville; her grandchildren, Whitney Reiner of Harrisburg and Brandon Reiner of Eddyville; her nephew Michael Friend (Shelley); her great-nephew Jasper Friend; and her brother-in-law Murray Friend (Susan) of Simpson.
