He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Binkley and Virginia Binkley (Lemons); and his brother Robert Dale Binkley. He is survived by: his children, Steven Binkley of Harrisburg, Ashley Binkley of Harrisburg and Alyssa Sarro (Luke) of Oxford, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Watson, Rhys Binkley of Galatia, Isabella, Genesis Koester of Harrisburg, Henry and Emilia Sarro of Oxford, Pennsylvania; and his sisters, Karen Smith of Paducah, Kentucky, Sherry Owen (Billy) of Eldorado and Marlana Catalano of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
