We bid farewell to Robert Greg McDonough of Hartford, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 62. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene T. McDonough and E. Celesta McDonough (Crossman); his brother Gary E. McDonough; and his nephew Jason McDonough. He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Leigh McDonough of Hartford and Erin Michelle Skelton (Freddie III) of Hartford; his granddaughter Makynna K. Skelton; the mother of his children Jackie McDonough; his sister-in-law Karen McDonough; and his niece Kary Lynn McDonough-Snaza. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
