We bid farewell to Wayne Carriker of Hartford, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 69. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Carriker and Leona Carriker (Walch); and his sister Alice Carriker. He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Carriker of Raymond and Roger Carriker (Terry) of St; his close friend Debra Minor of Moro; and his caregivers, Rob, Lois and Dennis. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hartford (301 N Delmar Ave, Hartford, IL 62048). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Asbury Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making monetary donations to the First Baptist Church of Hartford, 301 N. Delmar Avenue, Hartford, IL 62048 or to OSF Moeller Oncology Center, 2200 Central Avenue, Alton, IL 62002.
