He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Terpstra and Nila Terpstra (Dunbar); his wife Nancy Lorraine Dahlgren; his son Michael Terpstra; his granddaughters, Macie and Gracie Burnett; his siblings, John, Robert Terpstra, Caroline Ward (Nell) and Joyce Bremser; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Ward, John Bremser and Carl Swiech.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi McCloskey (Mark) of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, Rhonda Burnett (Todd) of Miranda, California and Melissa Anderson (Jeremy Gibb) of Johnsburg, Illinois; his sister Darlene Swiech; his sister-in-law Darlene Crumb (Ted); his grandchildren, Cole McCloskey (Claire), Jacob McCloskey, Carter McCloskey (Olivia), Kennedy (Alpheus Moore), Regann, Madison, Jaxson Burnett, Morgan, Joseph Anderson, Ashley Lindholm (Nick Ottolino) and Brittany Landwer (Bill); and his great grandchildren, Maddox McCloskey, Brynlee Landwer, Liam and Patrick McGovern. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and incredibly cherished close friends.
