With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Jacobs of Harvard, Illinois. Phyllis, born on September 23, 1933, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Donahue and Gertrude Donahue (Sachs); her husband Clarence Jacobs; her siblings, Lee, Lyle Donahue, Rita Seidsma (Andy), Jeanette Vickers (Floyd), Marlene Vermett (Jim) and Beverly Kohley (Phil); her granddaughter Monique Mathis; her nieces, Denise Vance and Dawn Berger; and her nephew Donald Vermett.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Joni) of Marseilles, Dale Blazier (Roger) of Woodstock, Penny Berry (Daniel) of Harvard, Susan Jacobs of Harvard and Peggy Garey (Bruce) of Fairbanks, Alaska; her grandchildren, Patrick Berry (Traci), Megan Wade, Timothy Blazier (Val), Jason Blazier (Nina), Ashley Schultz (Matt), Jamie Hitchins (Brit), Kyle Cairns (Skylar), Joselynn Duranona (Charlie), Brittney Warren (Ferral) and Erin Ordonez (Oliver); and her sister JoAnn Morris of Montgomery, Illinois.. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 2 great- great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (504 E Diggins St, Harvard, IL 60033). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (504 E Diggins St, Harvard, IL 60033).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
