He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Martin Espig and Amalie Espig (Halper); his wife Shirley; his children, Sharon Fessler (Jeff), Stephanie Jarvela (Doug) and Ronnie Espig (Lisa); his sisters, Ruth, Margaret and Loretta; and his son-in-law Jeff Fessler. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
