She is survived by: her parents, Maximino Castañeda and Veronica Nova; her siblings, Adolfo, José, Roberto, Richard Castañeda and Jennifer Castañeda (Omar Lara); her grandparents, Carmela Castañeda and José Nova; her aunt Laura Nova; her uncles, Juan Carlos, Joel Nova, José and Mario Castañeda; and her grandfather Guillermo Castañeda.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home (107 W Sumner St, Harvard, IL 60033). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (206 E Front St, Harvard, IL 60033). A burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (300 E Brink St, Harvard, IL 60033).
