She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Todora and Cecilia Todora; her husband LeRoy Gates; and her siblings, Mary Schaefer, Grace Walters, Jeanette Dietz, Jennie Spinozzi, Angie Kerbacher, John, Anthony, Charles, Santo, Samuel and Paul Todora.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Gates (Sina) and Jennifer Lynch (late Kevin); her grandchildren, Steven Lynch (Christina), Paul Lynch, Samantha Gates and Sabrina Gates; her stepgrandchildren, Alex Hanns and Deana Hanns; her great grandchildren, Anthony Gates, Gabriella, Ariana and Vincent Lynch; and her sisters, Stephanie Heckman and Josephine Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Rosalie Catholic Parish (6750 W Montrose Ave, Harwood Heights, IL 60706).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor.
