She was predeceased by: her parents, George Knowles and Mary Ellen Fields Knowles; her former husband Bernie Starr; her son-in-law Tony Reader; and her siblings, Charlet Lawson, Amanda Knowles and George Knowles Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Donald Larry Richards; her children, Rita Buss (Tim), Cathy Nash (Greg), Sandy Wiseman (Wayne), Lynda Reader, Bernie Starr (Vicki) and Bob Starr (Deb); and her sibling Pat Knowles (Doris). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
