Jeffrey A. Cogar Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey A. Cogar of Havana, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Clyde and Shirley Joan Cogar (Bennett); his siblings, Jerry Laverne Holmes and Melanie Joy Shores; his niece Whitney Lane; his nephew Steven Holmes; his aunt Lana Sue Bennett; and his brother-in-law Charlie Selby.

He is survived by: his daughter Kayleigh Kincaid (Richie); his grandson Owen Kincaid; his siblings, Daniel Lee Holmes (Karen), Connie Lynn Selby, Merle Dean Holmes and Kimberly Jo Cogar; his uncle Steve; his aunt Jennifer; his sister-in-law Laurie Holmes; and his nephew Charlie Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Jeff's name to his family.
