With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John H. Burgard of Havana, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Preacher" Burgard and Nelda Jo Burgard (Smith); and his brothers, Robert and Lanny Burgard. He is survived by: his children, Barry Burgard of Bath, Brett Burgard (Linda Garretson) of Ipava, Barth Burgard (Angie) of Havana and Bambi Traiger (Jeff) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Chelsea Burgard, Blaze Burgard, Sommer Burgard, Alaina Traiger and Amara Traiger; and his sisters, Lois Gorsage of Cuba, Luann Davis of London Mills and Rebecca Heller (Don) of Table Grove, Illinois..

Memorials in John's memory may be made to the Ipava United Presbyterian Church or the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana.
