In the vast expanse of eternity, Lawrence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lawrence farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl F. Jones and Frances Jones (Hughes); his wife Peggy Jean Avery; his son Wesley Jones; and his siblings, Richard Jones, Leonard Jones, Marion "Buzz" Jones, Brenda Bridges and Mary.

He is survived by: his sister Joann Brown of Springfield. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters, 5 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Lawrence's name to the Lodge at Manito or Willow Ridge Hospice.
