He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Grim, and Jean Grim, Jr. (Kingen). He is survived by : his daughters, Alyssa Loftis of Montana and Lacey Nicole Wall (James) of Guam; and his siblings, Ron Grim (Sharon) of Michigan, Jerry Grim of Delavan and Steve Grim (Beth) of Mason City. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Phil's name to VFW Post #6408 or the American Lung Association.
