She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Bennett and Florence M. Bennett (Hobbs); her husband Kenny Cogar; her son Jerry L. Holmes; her grandson Steven Daniel Holmes; her great grandchild Whitney Lane; and her sister Lana Sue Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Holmes (Karen) of Havana, Merle Holmes (Debbie) of Havana, Jeff A. Cogar of Havana, Connie L. Selby (Charlie) of Havana, Melanie J. Mohlenbruck (Dick) of Frederick, IL and Kim J. Cogar of Havana; her daughter-in-law Laurie Holmes of Havana; and her brother Steve Bennett (Jennifer) of Forest City, IL.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
