He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Stewart and Regina Stewart (Renner); his wife Judy Sommers; his son Edward Stewart; and his sister Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Timmothy Stewart of Indiana, Donna Stewart of California and Weldon Stewart (Nancy) of Topeka, Illinois; and his brothers, Joe Stewart of Las Vegas and Edward Stewart of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
