In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Holland; and his son Tod Holland. He is survived by: his children, Tim Holland (Brenda), Shelley Alo (Lindy) and Lisa Iverson. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (24500 N Old McHenry Rd, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donald's name can be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
