She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Sersen (Kwacala) and Joseph Sersen; and her brother Leonard Sersen. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Ohrwall of Oswego, IL and Frank Michalczyk Jr.; and her sister Geri Lowe (late David) of Choctaw, OK.. She is also survived by two grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home (10011 N Main St, Richmond, IL 60071). A Mass was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (10519 Main St, Richmond, IL 60071).
